Role Summary:

 •Oversees the processing, reporting, and resolution of all warranty claims
• Ability to concurrently manage multiple warranty claims on a wide variety of company equipment
• Familiar with all company products; their assembly, testing, shipment, use in the field and markets of use
•Responsible for the closure of corrective actions as they relate to warranty claims
• Responsible for ensuring warranty items are expedited through the shop and delivered to customer on agreed upon date.
•Provide timely reporting of warranty performance.
•Act as point of contact for customers on all warranty related issues and or claims.
• Review warranty claims and provide recommendations on accepting or denying claim.
• Maintain warranty database, (ie. enter, review and process claims for all products related to the Vernon FSG facility).
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues as they relate to warranty claims.
• Coordinate with other departments to determine cause and to issue any necessary corrective actions.
• Recommend improvements to company procedures to reduce warranty claims.
• Responsible for supporting the transition from shipped product to field support activities handled by other internal Flowserve groups.
• Track and monitor the claims process and quickly resolve any open issues with the customers, distributors and or internal parties.
• Review warranty documentation for the purpose of validating Flowserve warranty claims.
• Support Flowserve in processing of claims selected for review through the systematic examination of all customer warranty claims according to policy.
• Determine warranty repair eligibility in accordance with program guidelines.
• Provide customer with feedback on warranty claim issues detected.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Quality Manager and or Senior Manager as required by policy.
•Provides training to direct reports, engineering and customers on all warranty procedures when necessary.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities when required by top management.
• Coordinate/drive quick resolution for Customer Service CAR process

  

REQUIREMENTS

 

• BS Mechanical Engineer

• Advaced/Fluent English is mandatory.

• Manufacturing experience required within a heavy machinery environment, rotating equipment preferred

• Five (5+) years minimum experience in field installation/startup experience

• Strong verbal and writing skills

• Familiar with Flowserve products

• Be able to work independently and in a team environment

• Report writing and technical memos effective oral communications interpersonal skills

• Basic project management skills

• Accountability and execution for completing work timely and the specifications

• Conveys pump industry market knowledge

• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and breath in engineering principals
