US Accounting Team Leader

We are currently seeking an Accounting Team Leader to support the expansion of our team. We are looking for an analytical, organized, and results-driven professional with strong leadership skills and the desire to continue developing within a dynamic and technical environment.

• Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accurate planning and on-time delivery of all tasks.

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes under U.S. deadlines, maintaining high quality and accuracy standards.

• Prepare complex journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and both individual and consolidated reports.

• Review and interpret financial statements, contracts, and corporate documentation.

• Oversee Sales Tax and Payroll processes.

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, US Tax Accounting, internal controls, and corporate policies.

• Train, mentor, and develop team members, promoting best practices and high standards aligned with the firm’s culture and values.

• Identify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies in accounting processes and propose continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent).

• 4–6 years of experience in accounting roles, ideally working under US GAAP or in U.S. multinational environments.

• Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting tools.

• Solid knowledge of local accounting standards (required); IFRS or US GAAP knowledge (preferred).

• Advanced English (required), both written and spoken.
