 The ideal candidate will be a team player with demonstrated experience in legal operations, professional and seasoned “client-facing” skills and an innovative and process improvement mindset. Candidates for this role should be highly-motivated, self-starters with strong analytical and quantitative skills. The candidate will work closely with all levels of staff across the Legal Department, so strong written and oral communication skills are a must. An understanding of banking operations and technology is preferred but not mandatory.
Coordination with key internal and external stakeholders, escalating issues to direct manager timely, and providing regular progress reports on new initiatives will be critical. The Associate will work closely with employees across the department including senior managers.

 


Responsibilities

 

  •  Serve as primary point of contact for SharePoint site support inquiries and site modifications
  • Complete modification and simple enhancement requests for existing sites
  • Obtain and document high level requirements from a client for both SharePoint and web form design
  • Create web page wireframe prototypes to share with clients and developers
  • Build process workflows using Visio or similar tools
  • Serve as back up to assist with development of new SharePoint sites
  • Other duties as assigned by direct manager
Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical or business area or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SharePoint 2013
  • Minimum 3+ years of project management work experience
  • Minimum 2 years in a team environment
  • Excellent communication, analytical and writing skills; ability to think outside the box
  • Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English required (English proficiency and skill testing may apply)
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage workload is essential
  • Self-motivated, forward-thinking, and professional
  • Ability to remain calm, work in a fast paced, at times pressured environment, and balance competing priorities
  • Legal technology or applications experience
  • Familiarity with financial services industry and/or the legal industry
  • Project management skills with attention to detail, timing, deadlines and organization
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to be proactive, including escalating issues and proposing solutions
  • Proven record of success in a related role
  • Ability to work independently and on a fast-paced collaborative team
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities
  • Driven, enthusiastic and positive “can-do” attitude
  • Superior teamwork skills and willingness to seamlessly back-up team members on the fly
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • All candidates for roles in the Legal department must successfully complete a conflicts of interest clearance review prior to commencement of employment

Preferred Skills
• Prior experience in financial services, particularly in the areas of legal or compliance operations
• Knowledge of SharePoint
