At GhidiniRodil we are looking for the Service Delivery Center of PwC a Senior Consultant for the team that provides services to the Advisory Practice (Deals) in PwC Europe.

This team assists both Corporate and Private Equity clients in a wide range of reporting and accounting requirements/complexities driven by M&A activity. Help executives to process and present data in a deal situation while being both compliant with accounting / reporting regulations and deal relevant.

Main responsibilities:

As a Senior Consultant in CMAAS, you are an important member of the team supporting transaction-focused projects. In this role, you will work on assignments that span across the entire lifecycle of a M&A deal including preparation of carve-out accounts, supporting sell- and buy-side due diligence activities, post-merger integration and purchase accounting. You will take ownership of parts and work streams of deal-related projects and client deliverables such as sell- and buy-side documentations.

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum: bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Auditing and 3-4 years work experience in audit or accounting advisory
  • In depth knowledge of accounting / reporting (IFRS)  
  • Staying current and applying applicable technical accounting and financial reporting standards, supporting resolution of technical issues through effective analysis of accounting standards/issues
  • High degree of analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems
  • Leveraging tools and techniques for research, analysis, and problem solving, including Interpreting data/research, drawing conclusions, and sharing derived perspectives
  • Experience in preparing IFRS compliant financial statements and reviewing and commenting on financial statements  
  • Willingness to take ownership for tasks and have proven project management expertise
  • Lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects
  • Troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement
  • Ability to work independently on qualitative and quantitative analyses
  • Team player who is able to engage in international teams
  • Fluent in English
