Responsible for driving the growth and development of our  Spine  Business Unit by driving strategies and executing initiatives to protect and gain market share and to develop the market  Will identify and develop regional markets for Medtronic products and therapies within an identified business and identify new markets and expand market penetration or market share where appropriate.




  • Executes on all marketing projects in cluster/region to achieve:
    • Market share gain
    • Market development
    • Business Insights/intelligence


  • Develops business plans, strategies, objectives and cross-functional tactics, in tandem with marketing department and distributors, to maximize the short and long term potential of the business. 
  • Facilitates implementation of business plans and marketing strategies worldwide to increase market penetration or market share where appropriate. 
  • Train sales force and distributors in marketing strategies. Generate and describe creative, results-focused marketing concepts to a diverse client base.
  • Work closely with the product marketing/market development team, as well as other SBU functional areas such as Training & Education, clinical, Communication, patient management, Reimbursement and Health Economics
  • Performs detailed analysis & routine reporting around business performance and segmentation.
  • Plan and execute product launches, congress activities, go to market strategies and the implementation of tactics
  • Be familiar with advanced statistical analysis and research methodologies, along with common computer programs and data analytics.
  • Evaluate demographics, prices, distribution channels, and marketing outlets.
  • Develop product and market focused investigational questionnaires and surveys to ascertain market capabilities and growth measures.
  • Serves as division expert on global markets including identifying current and future market needs and understanding direct and indirect competition. 






  • Bachelor’s degree in /Marketing or related field Industrial Engineering or Business   

Intermediate English required (reading, writing and speaking)



  • 2+ years Marketing experience in a multinational enterprise


·       Demonstrated ability to execute multiple complex projects on time without requiring close supervision. Ability to leverage available resources and work through colleagues to achieve objectives.

·       Strong business analytics capabilities and affinity for IT/technical/web tools to enable data mining, gathering and analysis.

·       Comfort leading market research and adept at extracting actionable insights from different and sometimes conflicting data sources.

·       Ability to anticipate and meet deadlines, handling multiple simultaneous deadlines, prioritizing work, strong attention to detail, and the ability to retain confidential information.

·       Strong proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word. BI knowledge and statistical analysis software a plus.

·       Must be customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills

·       Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently

·       Demonstrated communication, persuasion and presentations skills.

·       Responsive, action-oriented and innovative problem solver

·       Eagerness to learn and expand responsibilities



·       Medical sales experience strongly preferred (as sales rep and/or clinical specialist)


·       Prior experience in with companies in the medical industry or similar regulated industry preferred.
