The IT Digital Sales team is responsible for developing the sales technology roadmap which will enable Kimberly Clark’s commercial transformation by focusing on cost savings, business growth, as well as connecting with partners and customers. Is the delivery engine for all sales capabilities within the sales portfolio, and accountable for the availability and reliability of all apps running in the sales landscape. As part of this team, the Regional Solution Engineer is responsible for integrating business, information, and technology architecture to create solutions primarily for Trade Promotion Management and Optimization, Revenue Growth Management and Pricing/Price Optimization and in some cases, cross capability areas. This role is viewed as an expert in complex analytical and application environments, encompassing both business process understanding and technical expertise. Is a Leader in developing innovative, technical solutions to important, highly complex strategic and operating problems. Has strong knowledge in business and technical functions that are touchpoints with their area of expertise. Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for other team members and the mail responsibility will rely on the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) area as Senior Solution Architect.
The role will report to an Associate Director of RGM / TPM organization working for the NA and LAO Regions. The role will not have any direct reports. Key Interfaces: Functional Engineer, Business Client, Data & Analytics team, Solution Engineers, Enterprise Architects and Project Managers. External Interfaces: Consultants, 3rd Party providers. Travel may include approximately 15% of work time.
The role has a close partnership with the Enterprise Application, IT Sales Business Partners and the Global Sales Council to deliver the best products and solutions for K-C for Revenue Growth and Trade Promotion Management.
The candidate should have Trade Promotion Management (Pre and Post Evaluation, Budget Control, Checkbook, Trade Funds management, Trade Payments and Claims/deduction management, etc.) and also Revenue Management (Baseline, Pricing, Mix, Promotion, Assortment, Cost to Serve) experience and broad technical and analytical background to understand and architect the breadth of interactive & sales technologies, as well as be well connected with ongoing digital innovation, tools and platforms related to Trade, Revenue Management and Analytical Insights.
Accountabilities across multiple functional and technical analytical areas with a wide range of complexity. Technical architect and leader of medium to complex projects for a specific business capability or across multiple capabilities and technologies such as SAP HANA, SAP BO, SAP BW, SQL Server, Azure Cloud, among others.
Translates non-functional and functional requirements into end-to-end analytical solution designs, ensuring solution aligns with business goals and processes, uses and provides enterprise information consistently, integrates effectively with other applications, supports a common application environment and user interaction model.
Collaborates with other Solution Engineers and Enterprise Architecture to make sure that solutions fit within enterprise context and aims for standardization of solutions across K-C’s application landscape.
Coordinates medium to complex solution architecture implementations while leading design variances based upon business needs while ensuring artifacts are documented in enterprise architecture repository.
Coordinates engagements with vendors as they relate to the evaluation, design, and delivery of business capabilities. Contributes to the evaluation and selection of software product standards.
Participant in industry representation, policy formation, User Groups, and strategic direction.
Qualifications and Experiences:
10+ years of continuous experience in software engineering, software development, and solution implementation focused on implementing Analytics solutions. This includes designing, developing, and implementing SAP Analytics, SAP HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Business Intelligence (BI/BOBJ), SQL Server, Azure Cloud and other solutions using the best practice methodologies and DevOps.
Hands-on experience in Analytics Project including at least one of the following technologies SAP BW, SAP HANA, SQL Server, Azure Cloud, BODS, SAP Analytics, Tableau.
Strong experience in Analytical modeling and BW and/or HANA ( or BW on HANA ) is a must.
Nice to have hands-on experience in Trade Promotion Management (TPM), Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO), Revenue Management (RM) and related Analytics, and Pricing/Price optimization.
Has strong leadership skills and exhibit creative thinking to be able to come up with inventive solutions to solve business challenges.
Experience with integration methods and tools including ETL and virtualization.
Strong technical leadership in delivery teams and partnerships with vendors. Experience delivering IT projects and/or programs with strong SDLC understanding, including Agile / Waterfall methodologies.
Knowledge about performance engineering, application and integration architecture using API Microservices, and Information Architecture modeling and design.
Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architects and infrastructure engineers to identify, design, and implement highly complex, end-to-end solutions.
Understanding of functional aspects within the Trade Promotion Management, Revenue Management, and Strategic Pricing capability area, and ability to do hands-on technical work whenever needed.
Understands how to coordinate the flow of work between agile teams and more traditional project-based teams.
Self-motivated to keep up with industry trends and disseminating information across the organization.
Experience working with blended teams consisting of employees, vendors, and consultants with both onshore and offshore resources.
Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory. Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines
