The Controller is accountable for the overall business control, starting with planning (mid-term planning, budget and forecast process) through to financial reporting. The Controller develops, implements and monitor internal controls for the business area. This role is a key part of the management of the business area (Renal Care) and as such is expected to provide insight on business performance, analyzing root causes of deviations, misses and provides recommendations for future performance.


Responsabilities:


Controlling

Ensures effective analysis of business performance and provides business support for decision making.

Ensures efficient budget/forecasting and strategic plan processes in conjunction with all areas involved (Commercial, Operations, HR). Prepares the plans/budgets in close cooperation with the Finance Director and Renal Care Director.

Delivers the information requested from corporate with highest quality (time/financial components etc).

Works closely with accounting and finance teams to support the month end closing processes in a timely manner.

Ensures compliance with corporate policies, contractual obligations and overall business control processes.


Growth Agenda

Performs performance analysis to support business development initiatives (organic growth, inorganic expansion and new business).

Supports business development activities (ie. market assessment, costs, profitability, pricing, cash collection, cases for new business, M&A activity and/or clinic portfolio performance assessment).

Performs assessment of acquisition targets or divestment projects, and supports the due diligences and advises senior management of risks and contingencies.

Provides support on the financial aspect of the integration of new business (risks, financial integration and contractual matters).

 

Qualifications:

 

Education: University degree in Accounting or Business Administration - MBA degree is desirable.

Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years relevant working experience – preference in a wide range of disciplines within finance such as controlling, business/finance planning or accounting. 

Exposure to international environments reporting to corporate, outside of own country.

Languages: Full command of written and spoken English.

IT: Experienced in systems as a support for business activities (ERP, BI, etc). Present Company developed systems today in-house developed Clinic system and other local systems. The group uses MS-office as standard. Consolidation system for the group is Aaro.

Very strong command of Excel.

Knowledge or experience of implementing ERP systems.
