Role Overview : As a senior member of the rapidly expanding testing organization, the Testing Group Leader  has management responsibility for a group of testing engineers (6-8) and oversees segments of the planning, design, and execution of complex testing solutions. The group leader provides professional and technical leadership for the group; participates in client meetings; ensures that work products and deliverables are of the highest quality; interacts with internal and client teams to provide recommendations; ensure smooth processes and provides status updates.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead personal development of team members and mentoring
  • Hold daily team meetings with onsite and offshore teams
  • Work with client and teams to deliver timely, high-quality testing solutions
  • Oversee activities such as: internal and external design reviews; tracking and reporting on test execution, compliance reporting and exit reports; analyzing test summary results; lead defect meetings; communicate daily and weekly status to the client
  • Report to the PM on tasks and initiatives and provide support as needed
  • Initiate and coordinate requests for test environment(s) and application/DB access
  • Supervise testing activities (such as system, end-to-end, and performance testing) to ensure that all of the solution components work well together.
  • Make sure quality test design is created by the teams that includes necessary coverage to customer business process and requirements, make sure design simulating the Client's environment including all events that are expected to occur in real life (e.g., status updates, new tasks) using the Client's reference data.
  • Develop relation with the onsite and serve as face for the offshore testing team.
  • Create and maintain the test plans
  • Validate of test plans
  • Execute and supervise the execution of test cases.
  • Submit and prioritize defects to the project team for correction
  • Serve as professional focal point for team
  • Makes sure all test deliverable are finished on time and with the required quality
  • Review team deliverables

Requirements:

  • Spanish & English -read, write and speak
  • Proven leadership capabilities with significant experience managing culturally diverse test teams
  • Experience in telecommunication organization, familiar with the Telco business process
  • 5+ years of extensive testing experience with skill to review the design and maintenance of test cases and assist in hand-on testing
  • Experience with DB and data modeling principles and associated tools (SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD, Oracle)
  • Experience in leading a team both on and off shore
  • In depth knowledge of at least one of Amdocs products (i.e Enabler, Ensemble, CRM , OMS, OSS etc..).
