Responsibilities and Tasks
Vestas Chile is looking for an experienced Reporting and Compliance Coordinator. In this position you will become part of our Finance Department based in Santiago. You will have a double reporting line to the Finance Manager of Chile and the Head of Reporting and Compliance in MED. Your tasks will primarily be:

Accounting & Financial compliance

• Optimize the closing process in relation to accounting processes and be in contact with and report to external public bodies, i.e. VAT, Tax, tax audits, defense files etc.
  
• Responsible for SAP finance tasks
  
• Responsible for hard close and year-end Close Audit
  

Reporting

• Ensure timely and smooth closing process
  
• Monitor deviations from budgets and reports
  
• Monitor and follow-up on KPIs and PPIs
  
• Coordinate risk position on Tax and VAT, co-ordinate all audits or other enquiries from Tax authorities
  

Master Data

• Conduct quality assurance and measurement of master data in SAP in order to guarantee data validity and usability
  Financial Compliance
  
• Responsible for financial processes and compliance to Vestas Financial Guidelines and the correct use of Vestas financial systems
  
• Contact with auditors and responsible for the audit process
  

Qualifications and Work Experience
As a Reporting and Compliance you will have:

• A Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Economics
  
• 3 years of experience in a similar position
  
• Previous experience in a large company will be an advantage
  
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  
• Good business understanding, i.e. sales, service, construction, projects, and procurement
  
• Financial skills and understanding of project finance and contracting
  
• Very good knowledge about accounting guidelines and principles
  
• Systematic and result oriented including analytical skills
  
• SAP system knowledge
  
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English and Spanish
