The Role
The Costing Analyst is responsible for product costing, variance analysis, inventory reporting.
Responsibilities Include:
- Financial Planning Analysis for M&E and Products
- Budget and re forecasting process
- Monthly P&L analysis explanation of variances
- Capex reconciliation
- Leader for EAM process in finance
- Profit by Rig
- Job Cost Summary
- Maintenance of average cost system.
- Analysis and report periodic variances.
- Computation of recovery rates.
- Ad hoc presentation to commercial managers
- Support to Finance Manager in Additional reports
Selection Criteria
The right person will possess or be working towards the following position requirements:
- Substantial Experience in accounts/costing is required.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- Systems experience and knowledge is essential
- Oracle system competency is highly preferable.
- MS Suite – Intermediate to advance level is required ((Excel, pivot tables, graphics) (Power Point))
- Must possess strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Reporting Relationships
The position reports directly to the Finance Manager and has a functional reporting line to the Commercial Manager from Products and Minerals and Energy Division
