Job Summary
- Responsible for the financial management and execution of Sales Compensation (65 + Sales Directors and growing, covering 12 + countries), Acquisition Performance and Retention Plans and P4P in line with the terms & conditions of the respective plan
- Balance Sheet and P&L Management as well as scenario development
- Work closely with the Business Unit (BU) Finance Leads, HR and ASW Sales Directors to ensure accrual, payment and forecasting accuracy
- Liaise with other Organizations as required, example local Country Controllership, CFM, Global TGP Finance
- Working with sensitive and confidential information
- Reporting to ASW Decision Support Lead
Key Responsibilities
1 Sales Compensation:
- Calculate monthly Sales Compensation accruals, liaise with global Finance for processing, monitor and control P&L and Balance Sheet entries
- Prepare monthly Sales Credit Reports by Sales Director/ Business Unit, calculate quarterly Sales Compensation Bonus achievement and payout
- Liaise with CFM (e.g. if Sales are not booked as expected) as required
- Drive approval process for quarterly Sales Compensation Bonus payment, liaise with Sales HR and local HR, monitor bonus payments and accrual release
- Work closely with BU Finance Lead to obtain Sales Forecast by Sales Director (3QF and Q4 year-end forecast); calculate revised full year Sales Compensation Bonus by Sales Director and adjust accruals accordingly
- Scenario development as required
2 Acquisition Performance and Retention Plan:
- Understand term & conditions from Purchase agreement in regards to the Performance & Retention Plan
- Set up accrual file for each plan, book monthly accruals, monitor and control P&L and Balance Sheet entries
- Understand Performance Plan Metrics, ensure that Reporting to measure actual against Plan as well as Forecast is in place
- Determine with BU Finance Lead quarterly if accruals have to be adjusted based on forecasted Performance Plan achievements
- At the end of the Retention or Performance Measurement period, liaise with BU Finance Lead and HR for timely payment and release accruals
- Work with local Country Controller as required
3 Pay for Performance (P4P):
- Calculate and book monthly P4P accruals, monitor and control P&L and Balance Sheet entries
- Liaise with BU HR and Finance Lead to obtain information for new joiners or leavers
- Calculate quarterly if P4P Funding potential changed and accruals revised
- Work with Global TGP Finance for quarterly Balance Sheet review
- Work with local Country Controller as required
