The Company seeks to hire Engineering Manager for its Argentine location in Buenos Aires. The candidate should possess the following credentials:
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implement new processes to improve productivity, realize cost savings, improve quality and improve delivery performance
• Apply statistical methods to improve process stability and to validate process improvements
• Use of Lean Manufacturing techniques to minimize work in process, reduce floor space and eliminate waste
• Manage project associated with new product launches and cost saving initiatives
• Document processes and critical machine parameters
• Provide assistance to purchasing regarding tolerances and specifications for components to be manufactured by suppliers
• Assist in the development of new products using a “Design Manufacturing” approach
• Expand manufacturing to other global locations as desired by the corporation
• Coordinate equipment purchases
• Benchmark other operations globally both within the company and outside the company to implement best practices
REQUIREMENTS
• Engineering Degree, Mechanical or Industrial
• Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of production processes is a must
• Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing knowledge are a plus
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
The position reports to the Director of Operations – Argentina
