Jr./Ssr. PHP Developer

HRsmart is a leading Human Resources software provider, a three time Inc 500 winner, the 8^th fastest growing technology company in Texas and is planning on going public in the near future.  The company has been selected to be the technology provider for Monster's new Talent Management Suite.  This agreement will result in significant growth for HRsmart. In preparation, we are looking for PHP Developers of all levels (Junior to Semi Senior) to help us meet our growth needs and prepare for the IPO.  Responsibilities:

• Develop new features for existing solutions using PHP and HTML based on design specifications and customer requirements that connect to a fully normalized MySQL database.
• Implement and support existing applications using the technologies mentioned above.
• Recommend code and design optimizations to improve the scalability of the applications and maximize performance.

 Requirements:

• 1+ years of hands-on PHP with WEB application development experience.
• 1+ years of experience with MySQL.
• 1+ years of experience with HTML.
• Experience with Object Oriented development.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Excellent project management and multitasking capabilities.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills with little supervision.
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of the PERL language is desired, but not required.
• Good level of English (spoken and written).
  

In addition, the ideal candidate will work well in a fast paced environment and deal professionally with internal and external clients in order to meet business and technical demands.
We are looking for someone who is creative, has very good software and database design skills, can work independently, has good communication skills and can brainstorm with the development team on new ideas.
